WOW!! Couldn't put this down!, October 16, 2002
Reviewer: Mark F Ashley from Terre Haute, Indiana

Got this book last week and couldn't put it down once I got inside the front cover. DiMercurio has done it again, with a fast paced detailed plot, where he gets to the point and keeps you on the edge of your chair from cover to cover. Much better written than T0m Clanc*y, who takes the first 300 pages to establish details for the plot. The only complaint I had was that there weren't enough pages. At 414 to the back cover, I'm sure he had more material that the editors cut out. Let the man write, I say!!

Can't wait for the next one!!

BETTER THAN CLANCY, ROBINSON, RIKER AND BOND!, October 10, 2002
Reviewer: Jay M. Roth from Fresno, California

As a former submariner, I find Mr. DiMercurio's novels to be better written and more exciting than the rest of the genre! Patch Pacino (the Older and Younger) are believeable and true to form to all my "counter parts" that I was associated with! The lives of submariners (PROTAGANISTS AND ANTAGONISTS)that Mr. DiMercurio describes is "true to life" i.e. marriages "come and go" , relations with children strained, familygrams, the whole gambit. I have read every book Mr. Dimercurio has written and relived my "old life" in his words. I can hardly wait for his next project!

Terminal Run, October 1, 2002
Reviewer: Leslie Simons from Ormond Beach, Florida United States

Terminal RUN is the best of the best. Detailed, intense action. The story reaches out and draws you in and carries you right into combat aboard a sub. I found the hairs on the back of my neck raising as I became involved in the plot. A great read! DIMERCURIO writes with far more excitement than rival Tom Clancy!

This is a terrific book by a great author., October 1, 2002
Reviewer: Hugh R. F. Campbell from Charlotte, NC United States

Having read all of the author's previous books I was anxious to get my hands on his latest and I was not disappointed. The characters are more alive and the author has written in a way that I found to flow better. This is his best and it reads at a fast pace. It is a real page turner and kept me up very late. It was a book I didn't want to end, I wanted to savor it like a fine wine. I have never been in the military, much less onboard a submarine, but the author's writing style has always appealed to me and held my attention. If you have not read the author's other books on submarine warfare, do yourself a favor and read them.

Sit down, shut up, and hang on!, September 27, 2002
Reviewer: Scott P Turchin from Bremerton, Washington United States

Chapter one warms up the vortex engines, chapter two straps you on the vortex rocket and ignites the solid rocket booster........

Simply put, OUTSTANDING. Could not put it down.

And when you thought you might predict Michael's writing style with the loved characters and thought you knew what was going to happen in the next chapter......you were wrong. as the previous review said, you love the characters and the technology that works half the time, but the new technology is outstanding also and will have you living inside of a computer and understanding artificial intelligence.

From taking an OOD Qual and feeling the sweat to launching torpedoes, the artificial intelligence, the emotions........Hang on!

Awesome book, if you read Threat Vector, this book is a MUST.

MORE! On EMERGENCY DEEP

EMERGENCY DEEP:
First in an electrifying new series from “A MASTER RIVALING TOM CLANCY.”

--Publishers Weekly

U.S. Navy submarine commander Peter Vornado is at the top of his game in underwater warfare when a devastating illness takes him out of the service and almost to the grave. Without duty, honor, or something to fight for, his life is as good as over.

But the CIA needs a man like Vornado…

A terrorist cabal has acquired a scrapped Soviet sub from the Cold War -- a technologically advanced failure still able to outrun any torpedo or enemy vessel and strike at will. With a nuclear payload, it will enable them to strike directly at Israeland throw the world into chaos. All that remains is to modernize the sub with the latest technology.

Only one man can infiltrate the group, take the helm, and stop a holocaust -- a man who has already stared down death, and is ready to do battle once more…

“Compelling and visionary. DiMercurio’s characters run as deep as his submarines themselves!”

--Joe Buff, author of Crush Depth and Thunder in the Deep
